If you want to play your favorite movie or show on an Insignia 4K TV, use the following settings

1. Picture Mode – Custom

As you get started with adjusting your Insignia 4K TV, select Picture Mode – Custom. After all, this option allows you to adjust other picture settings.

2. Brightness  – 0

Tuning the Brightness to 0 helps improve the image quality of Insignia 4K TVs. Combined with the right settings, movie scenes should be more accurate.

3. Contrast – 100

As for the Contrast, make sure it stays at 100. By using this setting, you will enjoy more details, especially in the brightest areas of your screen.

4. Backlight – 0

The settings for the Backlight depend on the lighting of the viewing room. For darker spaces, stick with a setting of 40 while brighter rooms might require something higher. But as this setting does not affect picture quality, feel free to choose any setting. 

5. Color – (-5)

Leaving the Color on default setting is another great way to improve the scenes on an Insignia Fire TV. But if you are not sure of the right value to choose, ensure it stays at -5. 

6. Tint – 0

To get high-quality pictures on the Insignia Fire TV, it would help if you pushed the Tint setting to 0. Out of the box, this value comes as the best for creating accurate images.

7. Sharpness – (- 25)

For Watching Movies/ Shows on the Insignia Fire F30

Do you own the F30 TV? If yes, you can use the following settings to watch movies and TV programs. But before you get started, turn off the Auto Power Settings and 4: 3 Stretch.

1. Picture Mode: Movie

For the best images, set the Picture Mode to Movie. As expected, this setting offers more accurate images than other options. 

2. Contrast: 70

As with most TVs, adjusting the Contrast can improve the picture quality of the Insignia TV. With this in mind, leave the Contrast setting ( of this model) to 70. 

3. Brightness, Color, Tint, and Sharpness  : 0

Unlike other settings for the Insignia Fire  F30, the Backlight Setting can be adjusted to your needs. So if you want to use this setting, try various values until you discover the value that suits your TV program.

5. Advanced Settings 

As you adjust the Advanced settings, disable Dynamic Contrast, Dynamic Noise Reduction, Dynamic Backlight, and MPEG Noise Reduction.

Head to the Picture Mode menu and choose Game. If you want to get a brighter scene from the video game, push the Contrast to 90.
